The first round of the Finnish newly organized Super 2000 Race series was held at Alastaro circuit. The main Super 2000 class was a double win for multiple Finnish champion Olli Haapalainen. Reigning Sport 2000 Finnish champ Pasi Lähteenmäki was second for both starts.
