Testing again resumed on the third day at the Circuit de Catalunya. Today was a quite warm day. There were again some changes to drivers. Toyota were running also their current test driver Olivier Panis who covered a mammoth 103 laps. Also Ferrari were running Rubens Barrichello in place of world champion Michael Schumacher, who already drove for two days. Williams race seat candidates Antionio Pizzonia and Nick Heidfeld again went for head to head with Pizzonia the fastest of the two. Overall David Coulthard set a surprise fastest time with the new Red Bull team.
Racing Images's photographers today spent the first day at the track. They are also present tomorrow, which is the final day of the tests. Photos from the tests will be available in a few of days time.
