Finnish Super 2000 Race series kicked off a week agon at the Alastaro circuit. In the main category Super 2000 touring cars Janel Nurminen in an Audi A4 was the fastest man of the weekend winning a sprint and a main race on Sunday. However, having suffered an engine failure in Saturday's sprint, Pasi Lähteenmäki now leads him by one point in the standings.
Racing Images was present at Alastaro. We also visited the opening round of the Finnish rally cross championship SRC in Hyvinkää. Photos from both races are in our galleries.
