Racing Images are to cover next week's Formula 1 testing from Barcelona. We are at the
Circuit de Catalunya from Tuesday 14th to Thursday 16th of January when many of the F1
teams are going to be testing there including the top teams. Teams running new cars should
be at least Toyota, Sauber and BAR, with the BAR launch on Tuesday 14th.
During these three days we are to have some news updates with reports and lap time
information from the tests on this site. Be sure to visit Racing Images from 14th to
16th of January. Full report with photos is about to be released soon after.
Toyota launch
The Panasonic Toyota Racing was the first team to wrap up the covers off their 2003
challenger with their launch today. The new TF103 is an evolution of last year's design
rather than a revolution. The car looks quite similar to TF102, but has undergone several
improvements on many areas and the team is hoping of being in a position to be able to
challenge for points on regual basis. Toyota also made a surprise announcement at the
launch by presenting Ricardo Zonta as their third driver alongside race drivers Olivier
Panis and Cristiano da Matta. The former BAR driver, F3000 champion and current Telefonica
World Series by Nissan champion is about to relaunch his F1 career.
