The final day of Racing Images winter testing coverage in Barcelona has come to an end. Once again David Couthard emerged the quickest of the day, followed by his teammate Kimi Raikkonen who ran a long stint of 20 laps in the afternoon. Technical problems continued througout the day with many interruptions in testing due to tow truck traffic on track. Pretty much all teams had their share of problems, Renault being the overall luckiest with both cars running without major problems.
Today's results:
1. David Coulthard (McLaren), 1:15.382, 53 laps
2. Kimi Raikkonen (McLaren), 1:16.007, 66
3. Juan Pablo Montoya (Williams), 1:16.151, 65
4. Olivier Panis (Toyota), 1:16.386, 48
5. Cristiano da Matta (Toyota), 1:17.008, 58
6. Alex Wurz (McLaren), 1:17.480, 94
7. Marc Gene (Williams), 1:17.587, 71
8. Anthony Davidson (BAR), 1:17.628, 26
9. Allan McNish (Renault), 1:17.865, 57
10. Antonio Pizzonia (Jaguar), 1:18.817, 50
11. Jarno Trulli (Renault), 1:20.778, 77
Three days of winter testing in Barcelona is gone and for us it's time to pack our gear and head back to the city. Tomorrow we will have a day off and have some films processed. Stay tuned for updates next week though as we shall have some real images for you. Here are all the digital images from these three days. A big thank you goes to Joonas Antikainen for letting us use his digicam and Pete Hölttä for the PCMCIA-modem.

Today's testing started in freezing conditions with temperatures below zero. However, the weather has warmed up nicely and the sun is shining as in previous days. Olivier Panis heads the timesheets at the moment with a time of 1:16.386. Coulthard, Montoya and Kimi Räikkönen complete the top four. Panis stopped on the circuit shortly after setting the fastest time. There seem to be a lot of teething problems with the cars as also Anthony Davidson's new BAR 005 was left in the track due to technical hiccups.
