Racing Images will continue covering this year's Formula 1 tests. Lauri Ouvinen
made a last minute decision to attend this week's tests in Barcelona at the
Circuit de Catalunya for the final two days on Thursday and Friday. While currently
living in Spain Lauri has also been our correspondent there providing pictures also
from Bilbao where a celebrity karting event and a motor show took place during the
winter.
The majority of F1 teams are currently testing at the Circuit de Catalunya. Teams
present today were Ferrari, McLaren, Williams, Jordan, Renault, BAR, Sauber,
Jaguar and Toyota. Ferrari headed the timesheets on Thursday with their new
F1-2002 cars in the hands of Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. This car
is surely going to give gray hairs for everyone else from the moment Ferrari are
to use it in Grands Prix.
We are hoping to have the pics from this latest F1 tests with a report available
